John Travolta still a Scientologist
The 55-year-old actor was rumored to have grown disenchanted with the bizarre sci-fi religion after the death of his son Jett in January.
But his representative Paul Bloch claims the star’s faith is as strong as ever.
Bloch told People magazine: “There’s no change in the relationship between the Church of Scientology and John. He is a member and it’s as it was, now and forever.”
Jett was 16 years old when he died after suffering a seizure in the family’s Bahamian holiday home. He was autistic, a condition not recognized by the Church of Scientology.
Rick Ross, an author and lecturer on Scientology, said: “There have been strong rumors coming out of Scientology that John Travolta is disappointed the religion was not able to help his son more.
“I think it would be very difficult for John Travolta at this stage to extricate himself from Scientology. It would be a huge move on his part because Scientology keeps files on its celebrity members containing embarrassing personal information about them.
“And Scientology has proven in the past that it has a penchant for releasing that information to embarrass people who have left and who have said things it doesn’t like. That’s why I think Travolta will want to keep his problems with the Church private.”

Pictures of Tim Tebow
Tim Tebow was born on August 14th of 1987 in the Philippines, Tim was officially named Timothy Richard Tebow after Pam and Bob gave birth to their 5th child while on a Christian missionary. Timmy is considered a miracle baby by many after surviving through a pathological amoeba infection that Pam suffered while pregnant with him. Nearly every doctor recommended abortion, but Pam and Bob chose life.
Tebow was homeschooled by his mother all his life and was no stranger to early success in football. By age 12, little Timmy could already throw a 50 yard pass from his knees! Raised in Jacksonville, Florida for most of his childhood, Tebow played a season with Trinity and eventually ended up starting at quarterback for Nease. His blazing speed and tumultuous power as a rushing quarterback rendered him unstoppable by his relatively undersized opponents.
A top high school recruit in his class recording 40-yard dash times as low as the 4.5s, Tebow considered Alabama at times but eventually chose to join forces with Urban Meyer and the Florida Gators. As a true freshman in ‘06, he helped lead the Gators to their second National Championship ever, exactly a decade later.
In 2007, Tebow’s performance was so outstanding that he came away winning the Heisman, Maxwell, and Davey O’Brien awards. Scoring a total of 51 touchdowns and rushing for 22 of them, ‘Superman’ broke the SEC record for rushing TDs while becoming the first NCAA player ever to throw and run for 20 touchdowns in the same season. Tebow also put his name in the record books as the first underclassmen ever to win the Heisman. In 2008, Tebow looks to join Archie Griffin as the only two-time recipient for the prestigious award.
Despite his love for the game of football, it remains fourth on his priority list in life. First is his relationship with Jesus Christ, second is his family, and third is his education.
